Associate – Business LitigationAustin, TX

Our client, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Business Litigation practice group in Austin.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Texas.
  • 4-6 years of substantive experience in complex business litigation and arbitration.
  • Familiarity with Texas courts and rules is essential.
  • Proven experience in trial settings, including hearings, depositions, and managing cases under reasonable oversight.
  • Expertise in handling cases related to partnership and shareholder disputes, trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, non-compete agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Experience in real estate litigation, including developer disputes, broker defense, lender litigation, and partnership disputes.
  • AmLaw 200 experience or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex business litigation and arbitration cases across various industries, including real estate, intellectual property, securities, and corporate disputes.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from strategy development to trial preparation and courtroom representation.
  • Collaborate with a team of seasoned attorneys in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment.
