My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and be adept at managing various projects from conception to completion. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, analyze, and implement infrastructure projects that meet both client specifications and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation/GEOPAK for drafting and design purposes.
• Conduct construction management activities including overseeing site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare construction estimates and budgets.
• Engage in technical writing to produce clear documentation, reports, and project proposals.
• Perform geotechnical engineering assessments and land surveying as required for project planning.
• Implement GIS technologies (ArcGIS) for mapping and spatial analysis in civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with project engineers on system design, hydraulics, and schematics for various infrastructure projects.
• Conduct thorough construction inspections to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience
Candidates should have a solid background in civil engineering with experience in the following areas:

• Project management and engineering principles related to civil infrastructure.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with construction processes including estimating, inspection, and management practices.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles as they relate to civil applications is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply mathematical concepts in practical scenarios related to civil engineering challenges.
