Financial Analyst - Brickstone Partners
Location: Franklin, TN (Hybrid)
Compensation: $80k/yr - 130k/yr + Bonus
Brickstone Partners is hiring an Investment Analyst to support acquisitions, underwriting, and asset‑level financial analysis for our growing real estate private equity platform. This role is ideal for candidates with 2–4+ years of multifamily value‑add underwriting experience and strong Excel modeling skills. You will work directly with senior leadership and play a key role in evaluating new investments and supporting ongoing portfolio performance.
Responsibilities
• Underwrite multifamily value‑add and student housing opportunities using detailed Excel-based financial models.
• Analyze rent comps, renovation premiums, operating expenses, and market fundamentals.
• Prepare investment memos and support internal decision-making.
• Conduct due diligence, including lease audits, financial reviews, and third‑party report coordination.
• Update operating models with actual performance data and assist with reforecasting.
• Track property‑level KPIs and support asset management initiatives.
• Research business‑friendly markets, tax environments, and permitting timelines to inform investment strategy.
Qualifications
Required:
• 2–4+ years of experience in real estate private equity, multifamily acquisitions, or institutional underwriting.
• Strong Excel modeling skills (cash flow modeling, IRR/MOIC analysis, sensitivities).
• Experience underwriting multifamily value‑add or student housing assets.
• Ability to analyze markets, financial statements, and operating assumptions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
Preferred:
• Experience in Sunbelt, Southeast, or other business‑friendly markets.
• Familiarity with CoStar, RealPage, Yardi, or similar tools.
• Exposure to operating modeling and asset management workflows.

Compensation & Work Environment
Base salary: $80,000-$130,000, depending on experience.
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus. Health Benefits, PTO
Hybrid; must be local to the Franklin, TN office.
Travel: Required for acquisition-related activities.
