Payroll Systems Analyst
We’re looking for a Payroll Systems Analyst to support our payroll operations through hands‑on HRIS configuration, data file management, and system‑level troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone who understands payroll concepts but prefers working behind the scenes in the systems, ensuring data accuracy, resolving technical issues, and improving workflows. You’ll partner closely with payroll processors, HR, and vendors to manage imports/exports, maintain system configurations, and diagnose issues across multiple platforms. This is a technical, detail‑oriented role focused on system logic, data integrity, and operational support—not payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely processing of assigned payrolls
- Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll system, time & attendance, & related payroll calculation functions
- Serve as first point of escalation for members of the Client Service Team when troubleshooting technical payroll issues
- Identify and support improvement efforts for failing or problematic payroll processes
- Accurate and timely data entry for all employee lifecycle task
- Accurately preform periodic Client Service tasks on the appropriate timelines
- Auditing payroll changes for errors or discrepancies in data and ensure integrity
- Resolve errors or challenges preventing the Client Service Team from achieving timely & accurate payroll processing
- Respond to client report requests
- Proactive review of PrismHR release notes communicate perceived risks to DOO and COO
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and client queries regarding payroll
- Maintaining client service tools (SOPs, Job Aids, Forms, Notes, Training Materials)
