Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead and scale the organization’s revenue growth initiatives. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and leading high-performing teams, and driving predictable, sustainable revenue growth.
The VP of Sales will serve as a key member of the leadership team and will partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to align sales execution with overall business objectives.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategy and execution — someone capable of designing the long-term revenue engine while also driving near-term performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a multi-year sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives

Identify new market opportunities, verticals, and revenue streams

Establish sales forecasts, KPIs, and performance metrics

Build scalable processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure
Revenue & Performance Management

Own overall revenue target and pipeline health

Drive predictable forecasting and accountability across the sales organization

Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities

Optimize pricing, deal structure, and sales cycle efficiency
Team Development & Culture

Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team

Recruit and develop top sales talent

Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance excellence

Implement training and professional development initiatives
Customer & Market Engagement

Serve as executive sponsor for key strategic accounts

Strengthen relationships with enterprise clients and partners

Represent the company at industry events and executive-level meetings

Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product and go-to-market strategy
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing to align demand generation and sales enablement efforts

Work closely with Product and Operations to ensure delivery excellence

Collaborate with Finance on revenue planning and compensation strategy
Qualifications

10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience

Demonstrated success leading and scaling a B2B sales organization

Experience building structured sales processes and forecasting discipline

Strong executive presence with ability to influence at the C-level

Track record of recruiting and developing high-performing teams

Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
