We’re seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Impact: Play a key role in driving financial strategy and supporting decision-making at both plant and regional levels.
Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance leaders to shape our business success.
Own the Financials: Lead daily and month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, system transactions, and account reconciliations.
Analyze & Report: Provide timely and accurate internal financial reporting and plant analysis.
Partner Across Teams: Oversee costing and quoting, collaborating with Operations, Sales, and Regional Finance Directors.
Budget & Forecast: Drive the annual regional budget process and monthly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
Support Compliance: Champion internal control efforts and ensure audit readiness.
Drive Improvements: Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across the business.
Lead Special Projects: Tackle ad hoc analysis and special projects that make a real impact.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in the listed duties above, accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing plant environment, including hands-on month-end close responsibilities.
