This is an ONSITE POSITION at our Clearwater , FL area/Essential Functions and Responsibilities:• Design, create, and maintain new and existing software programs that support a variety of factory needs, primarily created in LabVIEW with additional support forPython.• Develop new software tools to support configuration, calibration, test and otherdata collection needs to support engineering development and production of flowmeters.• Develop requirements, design software, implement (code) software, test software.• Establish and implement best practices• Design, Document and use API’s to connect to various other business softwaretools such as Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Business Central, various SQL databases.• Work closely with IT, Manufacturing Engineering and Firmware Engineering whendesigning applications.• Update/Maintain customer facing applications for new product releases andupdates.• Migrate existing software configuration tools (Microsoft VBA) to a more robust andmodular solution.• All other related duties as required.Knowledge and Skills Requirement:• Working knowledge in another high-level programming language (such as Python)• Comfortable working with source control tools (such as Git or Subversion)• Good written and communication skills with ability to work in a strong teamenvironment.• Detail oriented and process driven• Team oriented and enjoys a collaborative work environment (modified Agile)• Takes initiative with direction• Takes ownership of problems and works them to completion• Strong MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook experience• Experience with LabVIEW or other data collection toolsEducation and Experience Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and two years’ experience developingLabVIEW applications, or 5 years’ experience in lieu of degree
