International Sourcing Manager
Key Responsibilities
Global Sourcing & Supplier Development
• Identify, qualify, and onboard manufacturers and suppliers across Asia (China, Vietnam, Taiwan), Honduras, Mexico, and South America (Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, and similar markets)
• Build and maintain a robust supplier database covering janitorial tools, sanitation supplies, cleaning equipment, mops, brooms, dispensers, liners, and related categories
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQs, and exclusivity or preferred supplier arrangements
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective action plans as needed
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
• Oversee import logistics including freight (ocean/air), customs clearance, duties, and last-mile delivery in coordination with our logistics partners
• Manage lead times and safety stock levels to prevent supply disruptions
• Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers — leveraging Miami’s strategic position as a gateway to Latin American trade
• Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations, country-of-origin requirements, and trade agreements (e.g., USMCA)
Cost Management & Reporting
• Develop and maintain landed cost models for each product category
• Track and report on sourcing KPIs: cost savings, supplier lead times, quality reject rates, and on-time delivery performance
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through consolidation, alternate sourcing, or design changes
• Prepare sourcing reports and market intelligence summaries for senior leadership
