🔥 ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking Relay Test Technicians and Relay Test Engineers to support utility, industrial, data center, renewable energy, and substation customers throughout Florida and North Carolina.

This position focuses on relay testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and protection & control system verification for medium- and high-voltage electrical systems.

⚙️ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

✅ Perform protective relay testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

✅ Test and verify protection and control schemes

✅ Perform substation startup and commissioning activities

✅ Support outage, maintenance, and modernization projects

✅ Conduct functional testing of breakers, transformers, switchgear, and control systems

✅ Utilize relay test sets and commissioning equipment

✅ Complete testing reports and project documentation

✅ Participate in safety meetings, job briefings, and customer coordination

🎯 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

✔ Relay Testing, Protection & Control, NETA Testing, or Commissioning experience

✔ Experience with SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, Beckwith, Schweitzer, or similar relay platforms

✔ Ability to read and interpret one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection drawings

✔ Experience using Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, or similar testing equipment preferred

✔ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

✔ Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

✔ Self-motivated professional with a strong safety mindset
