💥 About the Role

We’re looking for a High Voltage (HV) Site Engineer with substation babysitting experience, who thrives in high-stakes environments and takes pride in keeping critical infrastructure running at perfection-level standards.

You’ll handle switching, hanging grounds, and scatter systems, ensuring top-tier safety and precision.
This is a hands-on, day-shift position where you’ll oversee operations, coordinate with crews, and make sure the most advanced substation in the world runs flawlessly — every single day.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• ⚙️ Oversee daily operations and safety protocols for a high-voltage substation.

• 🔄 Perform and coordinate switching and scada operations with precision and safety.

• 🪫 Install, inspect, and hang grounds to maintain safe work environments.

• 🧠 Monitor, document, and analyze system performance and maintenance activities.

• 🤝 Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and on-site crews to maintain uptime.

• 🚧 Support scheduling, planning, and coordination for rotating shift teams.

• 💡 Identify opportunities for process optimization and technical improvement.

• 📋 Complete detailed logs, time records, and compliance documentation.

💪 What You Bring

• 🎓 High school diploma or GED required (Electrical or Engineering background preferred).

• ⚡ Proven substation experience, including switching, scada, and grounding.

• 🧰 OSHA 30 certification and deep understanding of electrical safety procedures.

• 🧩 Familiarity with substation maintenance, commissioning, or installation.

• 💻 Competent with Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems (SAP a plus).

• 🗣️ Strong communication and leadership skills — able to coordinate with multiple teams.

• 🇺🇸 Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
