🔥 ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring experienced union craft professionals to support the construction, expansion, modernization, and installation of high-voltage substations throughout the United States.

This is true high-voltage substation work involving power transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, bus systems, grounding grids, control houses, relay panels, control wiring, and other critical power-delivery equipment.

🔧 OPEN POSITIONS

🔹 UNION LINEMAN

Support above-ground high-voltage utility, transmission, distribution, and substation construction work involving structures, conductors, overhead systems, grounding, rigging, and high-voltage connections.

🔹 UNION WIREMAN / SUBSTATION ELECTRICIAN

Perform electrical construction inside high-voltage substations, including conduit, cable pulling, terminations, grounding, control wiring, relay panels, control houses, transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and bus systems.

🔹 SUBSTATION TECHNICIAN

Perform hands-on assembly, installation, construction, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of high-voltage substation equipment.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced technician who wants to grow into Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Site Manager, Multi-Site Manager, Construction Management, or Project Management.

🔹 HIGH-VOLTAGE JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

Perform electrical installation, wiring, termination, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing support, and commissioning support on high-voltage substation equipment and electrical systems.

⚙️ WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Construct, install, expand, and modernize high-voltage substations

• Install and connect major substation equipment and electrical systems

• Support new construction, retrofit, outage, and infrastructure-upgrade projects

• Work on transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, grounding systems, bus work, control houses, relay panels, conduit, and cable systems

• Follow union requirements, OEM standards, safety procedures, and project specifications

• Support energization, commissioning, testing, and project closeout when required

• Help build the standards and processes for a rapidly expanding internal construction organization

🎯 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High-voltage substation, utility, electrical, or power-infrastructure experience

• Background as a Substation Technician, Journeyman Electrician, Substation Electrician, Lineman, Wireman, or High-Voltage Technician

• Experience working around transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, bus work, grounding systems, control houses, or relay panels

• Current union membership or willingness to join the appropriate union

• Strong safety mindset and pride in quality craftsmanship

• Willingness to travel based on project requirements

• Motivation to advance into field leadership, site management, construction management, or project management
