Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to achieve patient goals.
  • Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities effectively.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment strategies, exercises, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy through ongoing education.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
