NOW HIRING...a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school team in Bel Air, MD. In this role, you will support certified Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering vital speech and language services to students. Your efforts will directly contribute to the improvement of students' communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of speech and language programs as guided by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Conduct routine tasks such as preparing materials, documenting student progress, and maintaining accurate records.
• Support students individually or in small groups to achieve therapy goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to integrate speech and language strategies within the classroom environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a related field or completion of an SLPA program.
• Valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state of Maryland.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
