What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students with IEPs and 504 plans.
- Create personalized intervention plans aligned with educational objectives.
- Deliver direct therapy services in various settings, including individual and group sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement strategies and accommodations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning.
- Travel among schools within the district as needed.
What You Need
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a master’s degree in physical therapy.
- Valid licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Florida.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
