School-based Physical Therapist (PT)

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students with IEPs and 504 plans.
• Create personalized intervention plans aligned with educational objectives.
• Deliver direct therapy services in various settings, including individual and group sessions.
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement strategies and accommodations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning.
• Travel among schools within the district as needed.

What You Need

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a master’s degree in physical therapy.
• Valid licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Florida.
• Experience or interest in pediatrics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
