Bibb County - Speech Language Pathologist
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Bibb County Schools – Georgia
In-Person Preferred | Virtual Considered (Experienced Candidates Only)
If you’re an SLP who values real connection with students—but also has the flexibility to adapt when needed—this opportunity gives you both.
We’re partnering with Bibb County School District to support their students for the upcoming school year. The district strongly prefers clinicians who can be onsite and embedded in the school community, but will consider highly experienced virtual SLPs if necessary.
What You’ll Do
-
Provide speech-language therapy services to a K–12 caseload
-
Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
-
Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
-
Maintain compliant and timely documentation
-
Deliver engaging, student-centered therapy sessions (in-person or virtual if applicable)
In-Person Experience (Preferred)
There’s something different about being in the building—seeing progress in real time, collaborating face-to-face with teachers, and becoming part of the school community. This role is designed for SLPs who want that level of connection and impact.
Virtual Option
For clinicians with strong teletherapy and school-based experience, a virtual placement may be considered. This is not an entry-level teletherapy role—you must be confident managing a caseload independently, maintaining engagement, and navigating virtual platforms seamlessly.

Active Georgia SLP license (or ability to obtain quickly)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
-
School-based experience required
-
