Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Specialized Service Plan Program

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, adaptable, and relationship-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an innovative and growing program serving students receiving speech-language services through individualized service plans. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new service delivery model and make a meaningful impact on students and families across multiple settings.

Unlike traditional school-based SLP roles, this position does not include conducting evaluations or managing IEP caseloads. Instead, the SLP will focus on providing direct speech-language therapy services, participating in service plan meetings, coordinating with families and educational teams, and helping establish best practices for a developing program.

This role offers a combination of in-person and virtual service delivery and may include services provided in private schools, student homes, community locations, and online.

Position Details

  • 30–40 hours per week

  • Attend service plan meetings and collaborate with families and educational teams

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students receiving services through individualized service plans
  • Develop therapy goals and treatment plans as appropriate within program guidelines
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided
  • Participate in meetings with families, school personnel, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate scheduling and service delivery across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with administrators and team members to develop workflows and improve program operations
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms when appropriate to meet student needs
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations

This position is well-suited for a clinician who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building systems. Because this is a newly developed role, the ideal candidate must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping create solutions as challenges arise.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
