Business Development Manager – Charleston Tri-County Area
A leading staffing agency in the Charleston tri-county area is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new client partnerships within the region. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales acumen, a proven track record of exceeding targets, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and market research.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored staffing solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct presentations and proposals to showcase staffing services and value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business.
- Provide exceptional client service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with recruiters to ensure proper fulfillment of client staffing needs.
Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in business development or B2B sales (staffing industry experience required).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of staffing and recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness and ability to conduct cold calls both in-person and by phone.
