Overview
A rapidly growing, privately held organization is seeking a motivated and experienced Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to partner closely with executive leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, along with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and cost drivers to support business decisions
- Prepare consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning
- Develop and present budget-to-actual reporting with detailed variance analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors and support tax-related activities
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and debt tracking
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements
- Manage operational reporting and provide insights to leadership
- Support additional financial projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Industry experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage or similar preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business applications
