Join a fast-paced manufacturing team where strong leadership, safety, quality, and production performance are essential to success. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys working with teams, solving problems, and taking ownership of shift performance.
As a Production Supervisor, you will lead production leaders and team members while ensuring the shift operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and production goals. You will help create a positive, accountable work environment and ensure smooth communication between shifts. This position is a 3rd shift position, the hours are Sunday through Thursday with a 10:45pm start time.
Duties:
Including but not limited to:
- Lead and develop production leaders and team members to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
- Create and maintain a safe, engaged, and accountable work environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause problem-solving.
- Coordinate with planning and leadership to meet customer demands and production deadlines.
- Support employee training, coaching, and development.
- Promote strong communication between shifts to ensure seamless operations.
- Take ownership of shift performance, staffing, and efficiency.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, and overall production results.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership presence with a lead-by-example mindset.
- Ability to drive results while maintaining positive relationships with team members.
- High sense of urgency and accountability.
- Effective communication and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Experience with root cause analysis is preferred.
- Foundry experience is preferred.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Foundry environment with exposure to heat, dust, noise, and fumes.
- Employees are provided with the tools, training, and resources necessary to work safely and successfully.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift and take ownership of overnight production operations.
