Seeking an experienced hands-on Calf Care Specialist to help care for our client's nursery dairy calves and young beef calves in a fast-paced farm environment in the North Manchester, IN area. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for animal care and takes pride in helping calves grow and thrive.

Calf Care Specialist Responsibilities:
- Feed and care for nursery dairy calves and young beef calves
- Monitor calf health and well-being
- Assist with feeding programs and daily livestock care
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities
- Support our ongoing livestock research program
- Work closely with team members to achieve animal care goals
- Participate in weekly livestock meetings and continuing education opportunities
Calf Care Specialist Profile:
- Experience and passion for working with livestock, especially calves
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and positive attitude
- Commitment to excellent animal care
- Livestock or dairy experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate
- Willingness to work a 5-day rotating work week, including some weekends and holidays.
Calf Care Specialist Compensation & Benefits:

$24 per hour during the week and $28 per hour for weekends and holidays. Typical annual earnings range from $60,000–$65,000+ depending on schedule and premium pay opportunities.
