Seeking anOperations Leader who enjoys leading a team, developing processes, and department efficiencies tojoinour client's industrial service team in Fort Wayne, IN. This role offers the unique opportunity to start in Service—the heartbeat of our company—with potential to grow into a broader operations role across the organization. You'll work closely with your team to identify efficiencies, develop process improvements organization techniques to free up the team to focus on high-value activities.
Operations Leader Tasks:
Lead by learning from, walking alongside (at times), supporting and empowering the team
Develop and drive process improvement initiatives
Identify automation opportunities if needed
Act as liaison between leadership and the admin team
Manage department operations and support day-to-day execution
Prioritize projects based on financial impact and return on effort
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows and systems
Manage a high-functioning team of 10-12 people (dispatchers, PM coordinators, parts team) - self-sufficient and takes ownership of their roles
Operations Leader Experience:
5-7 years professional experience in operations or business management
No service industry experience needed—likes a fresh perspectives without preconceived biases
Track record of process improvement and driving results
Strong business acumen and ability to assess ROI/impact
Excellent people skills and collaborative mindset
Willing to learn from the team before implementing changes
Low ego, high emotional intelligence
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Operations Leader Benefits:
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 based on experience
