Key Account Executive - Major Grocery Account
KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - MAJOR GROCERY ACCOUNT
KB Search Team is partnering with a well-established bakery brand to identify an experienced Key Account Executive to manage their Kroger Corporate and Divisional business across Cincinnati, Louisville, Columbus, and Michigan Central divisions.
THE OPPORTUNITY: This role offers the chance to be THE strategic partner managing all aspects of this major account relationship. You'll work directly with Kroger leadership teams on plan-o-gram development, drive period programs, promotional planning, and divisional expansion opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage all aspects of the Kroger Corporate and Divisional businesses
- Maintain and further current corporate and divisional relationships
- Drive profitable sales growth, market share expansion, and new item authorizations
- Create and implement promotional/sales plans within budget
- Become the go-to expert for plan-o-gram development and execution
- Develop incremental display programs to drive sales growth
- Monitor competitive activity and develop plans to address business threats
- Support Sales Operations Team during key market times (holidays, resets, merchandising)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree or related experience required
- Previous Kroger account experience is preferred
- At least 3 years managing within a DSD company preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
LOCATION & TRAVEL: Remote role with home office. Strong preference for candidates based in Ohio, Kentucky, or Michigan. Extensive travel required to cultivate Kroger corporate and divisional relationships. Overnight travel necessary.
