Regional Sales Manager – North America (South / Southeast / West)

Our client is part of a global manufacturing group serving the wire drawing industry, with headquarters in Europe and North American operations based in Decatur, Indiana. They have production sites around the world and a strong commitment to long-term growth and customer relationships.
The Role
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to own and grow a large North American territory covering the South, Southeast, and Western regions. You’ll work independently while being part of a close-knit commercial team of five, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing. This is a remote role, ideally based in the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, or as far west as Texas.
What You’ll Do

Manage and grow your assigned sales territory

Build strong relationships by visiting customer plants and working with operations teams

Provide technical guidance and help customers choose the right products

Develop sales strategies, key accounts, and long-term agreements

Identify new opportunities through market and competitor analysis

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure great customer experiences

Prepare sales forecasts and performance updates
What We’re Looking For
-
3+ years of B2B sales experience (wire drawing, copper, or steel industry experience strongly preferred). Must have sold to an OEM.

Comfortable managing large accounts and negotiating contracts

Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently

Willing to travel up to 50% (company vehicle provided)

Positive, team-oriented, and interested in being part of an international organization
