Regional Sales Manager – North America (South/Southeast to Texas)

Our client is a small company that is part of a global manufacturing group serving the wire drawing industry, with headquarters in Europe and North American operations based in Decatur, Indiana. They have production sites around the world and a strong commitment to long-term growth and customer relationships.

The Role
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to own and grow a large North American territory covering the South, Southeast, and Western regions from North Carolina South and West to Texas. We are looking for a HUNTER! You’ll work independently while being part of a close-knit commercial team of five, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing. This is a remote role.  You must live in the southern territory, ideally in the Carolinas, Georgia, or Alabama.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow your assigned sales territory.  Heavy focus on finding new business and growing this territory.

  • Build strong relationships by visiting customer plants and working with operations teams

  • Provide technical guidance and help customers choose the right products

  • Develop sales strategies, key accounts, and long-term agreements

  • Identify new opportunities through market and competitor analysis and gain new business 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure great customer experiences

  • Prepare sales forecasts and performance updates

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (wire drawing, copper, or steel industry experience a plus).  Must have sold to an OEM.

  • Comfortable managing large account, negotiating contracts, and bringing new business onboard

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently

  • Willing to travel up to 50% (company vehicle provided)

  • Positive, team-oriented, and interested in being part of an international organization

  • You must live within the southern territory--Preference for North or South Carolina, Georgia, or Alabama
  • Degree is a plus, but not required
