Key Responsibilities:
- Engage proactively with potential clients via phone, email, and social media to present our product offerings.
- Develop and nurture robust relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to devise strategies aimed at meeting sales targets and broadening our customer reach.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to facilitate a seamless purchasing experience.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- 3 + years of inside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution (e.g., MRO, electrical, automation, fluid power, or mechanical products).
- Proven experience in generating technical quotes in a B2B environment.
- Thorough knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
- Experience in working in a results-oriented, team environment
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams.
- Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages, calculate ratios, interchange fractions & decimal equivalents freely, and perform other simple calculations.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense/empirical information to customer requests, which lead to quoting and customer orders.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) strongly preferred.
Experience with Epicor Kinetic or other ERP systems.
