As Director of Supply Chain, in this key leadership role you will be responsible for developing and executing all facets of the supply chain strategy.  Reporting to the VP of Operation and with a team of 12 direct reports in North America, who are located in Mexico and in Indiana, you will ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high levels to support business growth.
 
Your role:
 
Strategy and Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high performance work team
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives such as capacity planning, vertical integration, and cost optimization
     
Procurement and Sourcing:
  • Oversee sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
  • Foster strong supplier relationships
  • Lead efforts in supplier performance and cost reduction
 
Planning and Inventory Management:
  • Direct demand and supply planning
  • Implement inventory optimization
  • Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
 
Process Improvement & Technology:
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Champion ERP and supply chain system improvements
 
Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
 
Your background:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business required
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management in manufacturing
  • Proven success in managing large-scale supply chain networks
  • Strong leadership change management and team development skills
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain best practices, ERP systems, and analytical tools
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
