Currently looking for a Commercial/Industrial Construction Project Manager to fill a position due to business growth in the Fort Wayne, IN area for our Design-Build Construction Firm client. Interested candidates should have at least five years of commercial/industrial experience.
This role involves managing projects from concept to completion, balancing office and field responsibilities to ensure quality results and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who takes initiative rather than waiting to be directed — someone who sees what needs to be done and does it. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and excel in collaboration and clear communication. A self-directed, goal-oriented mindset, integrity, and accountability are essential for success. This company operates on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), so familiarity with or openness to that framework is a plus.
Requirements of the Project Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering
- 5+ years of experience working for a Commercial Design-Build Contractor
- Experience with Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore & Timberline
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods)
- Ability to implement and follow company policies, procedures, and standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills
- Willingness to work 10-hour days
- Comfort working within an EOS-driven organization
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Serve as the main client contact, providing updates and resolving project issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain project momentum and foster accountability.
- Build and manage detailed project schedules, tracking progress and communicating updates to all stakeholders.
- Develop Schedule of Values for billing, monitor budgets, review financial documents, and report financial risks to the Senior PM.
- Enforce daily safety procedures, lead safety meetings and inspections, and document site activities.
- Conduct OAC meetings, maintain accurate records, and ensure work meets all quality standards, codes, and requirements.
- Manage subcontracts from award through completion, tracking performance and resolving disputes with Senior PM support.
- Support team development through delegation, training, feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Champion company's vision, mission, and core values while driving and communicating organizational change.
Project Manager Benefits:
