Our client, a global AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its elite Global Finance Practice Group. Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
4–7 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance, preferably in a large law firm setting
Background working with sophisticated commercial real estate and mezzanine loans
High proficiency in drafting and negotiating transactional documents
Strong ability to independently manage transactions and contribute effectively as a key deal team member, including running aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills; sound business judgment; and attention to detail are essential

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in commercial real estate finance transactions, advising on real estate loans and mezzanine loans
Run key aspects of transactions throughout the deal cycle, from due diligence through closing
Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents
Act as a key member of deal teams, coordinating transaction workflow to ensure timely and efficient closings
Collaborate with attorneys across the global finance practice to handle loan origination, acquisition, and disposition; securitization; rating agency representation; servicing; workouts and restructuring; and bankruptcy matters

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: $310,000-$420,000, commensurate with experience and class year
