An international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a talented Privacy Litigation Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Privacy & Data Security Litigation practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge, high-stakes matters involving privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection issues that directly impact some of the world’s most sophisticated organizations. The team is known for handling complex, headline-making litigation and regulatory investigations in a collaborative and intellectually rigorous environment.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 3–5 years of substantive experience in privacy, data security, or complex commercial litigation
- Experience handling privacy and data security litigation, including data breach class actions and matters involving state and federal privacy laws
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to present arguments clearly and persuasively
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and case management abilities
- Proven attention to detail and ability to manage significant, fast-moving matters
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Large law firm experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Defend clients in complex privacy and data security litigation, including high-profile class actions
- Handle matters involving alleged violations of state and federal privacy statutes and regulations
- Represent clients in regulatory and attorney general investigations and enforcement actions
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery-related materials
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including coordination with internal teams and clients
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas on multifaceted litigation strategies

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: $260,000 – $365,000, commensurate with experience and class year.
