This is an outstanding opportunity to advise on sophisticated tax planning matters across M&A, financing, partnerships, and cross-border transactions within a nationally-recognized practice.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
- Candidates who are eligible to promptly gain admission to the NY Bar Association will also be considered

1–5 years of substantive experience in transactional tax planning and related advisory work
- Experience with U.S. tax aspects of inbound and outbound transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financing transactions, subchapter C entities, partnerships, or joint ventures preferred
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently, think creatively, and manage complex matters
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and interact directly with clients
Key Responsibilities

Provide transactional tax advice in connection with M&A, financings, joint ventures, and other complex business transactions
- Support structuring and implementation of cross-border tax planning strategies

Advise clients on new tax legislation, regulations, and emerging tax issues

Conduct legal research and prepare client-ready memoranda and analyses
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide integrated tax solutions
- Engage with clients to identify and address strategic tax considerations

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $225,000 – $365,000, as determined by experience and market factors
