Sales Professional - Trailer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct outside sales visits to dealerships, contractors, transportation companies, and other target clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate trailer solutions (equipment, utility, enclosed, etc.)
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product demonstrations
- Negotiate pricing and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets
- Collaborate with internal teams (inventory, service, financing) to ensure smooth transactions
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM system
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and industry networking opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory sales (trailer, equipment, or automotive industry preferred)
- Strong ability to prospect, build relationships, and close deals independently
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in the field
- Comfortable with frequent local travel
- Basic computer skills and experience with CRM systems
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and explain them clearly to customers
Schedule & Salary:
- First Shift
- $16 - $17 Base Salary, no cap on commission
