We are seeking a motivated and dependable Low Voltage Technician to join our team. We specialize in commercial and residential security solutions including alarm systems, access control, surveillance cameras, fire alarm systems, networking, and smart automation technologies.

We are looking for someone with 2–5 years of experience in low voltage installation and service who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot:
• Burglar alarm systems
• Access control systems
• CCTV/video surveillance systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Structured cabling and networking equipment
• Smart home and automation devices
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
• Run and terminate low voltage cabling
• Program and test equipment
• Maintain organized and accurate job documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–5 years of low voltage/security system experience
• Experience with commercial security systems preferred
• Knowledge of access control and IP camera systems
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
• Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and computer software
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background screening

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in:
• Hot attics
• Warehouses
• Outdoor environments
• Construction sites
• Ability to:
• Work from ladders and aerial lifts
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Bend, climb, kneel, and crawl as needed
