REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a talented mid-level Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Real Estate Practice Group in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated real estate attorney to engage in complex, high-value transactional work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing.

  • 4–5 years of substantive experience in real estate transactional work.

  • Transactional Experience: Demonstrated background in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development of commercial real estate assets.

  • Experience handling real estate debt and/or equity transactions is strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple complex transactions with precision and efficiency.

  • Thrives in a collaborative team setting, while also showing initiative and independence.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent legal writing, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sophisticated real estate deals including acquisitions, sales, development projects, and leasing agreements.

  • Work closely with institutional investors, developers, lenders, and corporate clients to structure and negotiate deals.

  • Advise clients on real estate finance and capital structuring, including joint ventures, mezzanine financing, and equity investment arrangements.

  • Collaborate with attorneys in tax, corporate, and finance groups to support complex deal structures.

  • Oversee title and survey review, zoning analysis, and the preparation of purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and closing materials.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $275,000 – $305,000, commensurate with experience.
