Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.
  • Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
  • Implement vision inspection systems to enhance product quality.
  • Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing electrical systems.
  • Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install and/or repair calibrated service or replace electronic devices and systems.
  • Receive wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs; installation and electrical inspection work to be performed.
  • Perform work which requires a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
  • Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Utilize CAD software for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
  • Assigned other duties.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Five (5) years plus prior experience related to electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in designing and fabricating electrical systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Experience using CAD software for design purposes.
  • Experience and hands-on knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
