Director of Sales – Marketing & Creative

Location: Westwood, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

About the Role

Our Client’s Marketing & Creative practice is seeking a dynamic Practice Director of Sales to lead our Westwood branch sales efforts. This is a lead-by-example sales leadership role, responsible for driving new business, managing key client relationships, and mentoring a team of two experienced sales professionals.

 

The ideal candidate is an experienced business development professional with deep knowledge of the marketing, creative, and digital staffing industry, a proven track record of breaking new accounts, and the ability to build lasting client partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Growth
    • Generate new business opportunities by targeting prospective clients and expanding relationships with existing Our Client customers.
    • Re-engage and recapture former client accounts through consultative sales strategies.
    • Represent Our Client’s Marketing & Creative practice as a trusted partner for staffing and workforce solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring delivery of exceptional service and results.
    • Identify client needs and craft customized staffing solutions to address business challenges.
    • Maintain a strong presence in the market through client visits, networking, and thought leadership.
  • Sales Leadership & Mentorship
    • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of two sales professionals through coaching, joint client meetings, and performance management.
    • Set the standard for sales excellence by consistently delivering results and modeling best practices.
    • Partner with recruiting teams to ensure alignment between client demand and candidate delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the staffing industry, with a strong preference for marketing, creative, and digital staffing expertise.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development, account growth, and client retention.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience coaching or mentoring sales professionals.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
