Description

• Assemble Mechanical and Electrical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Requirements

• Prepares work to be completed by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring complete components.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any-and-all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Lifting overhead up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow specific instructions.
• Electromechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly experience strongly preferred.
