About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to join their team in a pivotal role that merges supply chain management with aftermarket sales. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to engage with both the procurement and sales aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and evaluate both domestic and international suppliers for critical components such as heavy fabrication materials, precision pumps, and electrical control panels. Engage in contract and price negotiation to secure competitive pricing and ensure the highest quality standards.
• Supplier Performance Management: Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, focusing on on-time delivery, defect rates, and lead-time reductions.
• Customer Engagement & Sales: Serve as the primary contact for customers requiring replacement parts, and develop strategies to promote and sell spare parts kits to optimize machinery uptime.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in industrial procurement, with a preference for experience in heavy machinery, fluid power, or industrial processing industries.
• Sales Exposure: At least 2 years in technical B2B sales, account management, or customer service.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems, as well as the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, alongside empathy and urgency to assist clients during equipment downtime.

Location

This role requires residency in the local area of DFW. Remote work is not an option.
