Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Onsite | Telford and/or Montgomeryville, PA | $80,000–$100,000 annually
About the Opportunity
Join a growing engineering team designing and supporting high-purity and ultrapure water systems. This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer with practical PLC programming and electrical controls experience who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with colleagues, and seeing custom equipment through testing and commissioning.
What You’ll Do
Program PLC control systems and design HMI screens for custom water treatment equipment.
Develop ladder logic using Connected Components Workbench, RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Studio, and/or Cscape.
Prepare electrical schematics and control panel drawings using AutoCAD or DraftSight.
Develop I/O and alarm lists from P&IDs and project specifications.
Prepare control panel bills of materials and instrumentation takeoffs.
Support control panel fabrication, wiring questions, and component installation.
Troubleshoot controls issues and assist with startup and commissioning, primarily through remote access.
Collaborate with engineering, production, installation, and customer teams; maintain accurate electrical documentation.
What We’re Looking For
Associate degree or two-year technical degree in an electrical discipline required; bachelor’s in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology preferred.
Approximately 1–3 years of relevant PLC programming, controls, or electrical schematic experience preferred; candidates with strong practical experience are encouraged to apply.
Working familiarity with instrumentation, cabinet layouts, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI tools; familiarity with the listed platforms is valuable.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly, manage details, and work across multiple projects.
Work Environment & Travel
This position is onsite Monday through Friday at a location in Telford, Montgomeryville, or a combination of both. Approximately 10% travel, primarily within the Northeast. This role focuses on automation and electrical controls rather than ownership of full mechanical system design or project construction.
Compensation & Benefits
