The company is coming off a banner year of major project wins and has a strong backlog of infrastructure work across New England.

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Estimating, a highly respected leader who has led bids on major infrastructure projects and is known for developing strong estimators.

Types of Projects

• Bridge rehabilitation and construction

Projects range from municipal infrastructure work to large design-build projects exceeding $75M.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material costs
• Build estimates using Bid2Win and Excel
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
• Assist with design-build proposals and technical submissions
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during bid development

Ideal Background

Experience
• ~5+ years estimating civil infrastructure or heavy civil projects

Project Experience Could Include
• Roads / highways
• Bridges
• Utilities (water, sewer, wastewater)
• Site development
• Public infrastructure

Education (Preferred)
• Civil Engineering
• Construction Management

Additional Experience That Helps
• MassDOT / RIDOT / MBTA projects
• Bid2Win experience
• Strong Excel skills
