SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking an Sr. HR Manager for a client located in the Holland, Michigan area. This person will support large-scale manufacturing operations across North America. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for partnering closely with operations leadership to drive workforce effectiveness, talent strategy, and consistent HR practices across multiple sites. This role leads and mentors a team while shaping people strategies that support growth, engagement, and operational excellence—particularly within an hourly workforce environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and HR leaders.
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to manufacturing and operations leadership.
- Design and implement HR strategies aligned with operational and business goals.
- Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and employment practices.
- Drive consistency and standardization of HR processes across multiple locations.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and mitigate organizational risk.
- Champion a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage regional HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 3+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong business acumen with experience supporting manufacturing or operations teams.
- Ability to influence leaders and translate business needs into people strategies.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to work onsite in Holland, Michigan
- Willing to travel up to 25% to visit other plants.
