Impact
As a key member of the development team, you’ll design and build reliable, scalable JD Edwards solutions that directly support Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping, and Finance operations, enhancing the company's recent implementation of JDE 9.2. This is a hands-on development role where you’ll have meaningful ownership of enhancements and new functionality—not just maintenance tickets.
What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2
- Build and enhance applications using FDA, RDA, TDA, and NER
- Develop business functions and integrations to support evolving business needs
- Write and optimize SQL queries and database interactions (Oracle/SQL Server)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with strong root-cause analysis
- Participate in integration and system-level testing
- Contribute to code reviews and design walk-throughs
- Prepare releases and support iterative deployments
- Document technical designs and maintain system documentation
- Participate in a shared Level 2 support rotation (including occasional after-hours support)
What you bring
- 4+ years of experience as a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Developer
- Strong experience with JDE E1 9.2
- Functional exposure to at least two of the following modules: Manufacturing (MFG), Purchasing (PO), Shipping, Finance (FIN)
- Solid experience with FDA, RDA, TDA, and NER
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience developing custom reports (Business Objects / Crystal Reports is a plus)
- Understanding of web services, service-oriented architecture, and object-oriented design
- Experience in a Microsoft environment (Windows Server, SQL Server, O365)
- Degree in Computer Information Systems or similar technical program
- Local to Mississauga and willing to work from the office a few days a week (hybrid). May consider remote work from within Ontario
