We are recruiting on behalf of a boutique consulting firm specializing in Data Management, Analytics, AI, Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), Data Governance, and related enterprise data solutions. Their clients include leading organizations across Manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Healthcare, and other industries.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Director, AI & Analytics Sales to drive new business development and revenue growth for their AI, Analytics, Data Platform, and Consulting Services practice.
This is a highly visible, quota-carrying individual contributor role focused on generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and developing strategic relationships with enterprise clients.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and close new opportunities for AI, Analytics, Data Platform, and Consulting Services engagements.
- Build relationships with C-level executives, VP-level decision makers, and key stakeholders.
- Lead discovery meetings, solution presentations, and executive business discussions.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and alliance teams to develop winning proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Partner closely with Databricks, Snowflake, and other technology vendors to generate co-sell opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner-sponsored activities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND
- Minimum 7 years of successful enterprise software, consulting services, or professional services sales experience.
- Recent experience selling AI, Analytics, Data Platform, Cloud, or Data Management consulting services.
- Proven success selling into industries such as Manufacturing, Distribution, CPG, Retail, and Healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience selling Databricks and/or Snowflake-related solutions and services.
- Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Lakehouse Architectures, and Modern Data Platforms.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota.
- Experience closing consulting and professional services engagements valued at $100,000+.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms.
- Experience partnering with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar ecosystem partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working within a consulting, systems integration, or professional services organization.
- Familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger, or other consultative sales methodologies.

- Recent experience selling AI, Analytics, Data Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, and related consulting/professional services is required. (not just software sales)
- Candidates must be exceptional communicators with a proven track record of closing enterprise consulting engagements valued at $100K+ per deal.
