Sr. Workday HRIS Analyst, Reporting (Prism)

As the Senior Workday HRIS Reporting Analyst, you'll serve as the organization's subject matter expert for Workday Reporting and Workday Prism Analytics, helping HR and business leaders turn data into actionable intelligence. DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Workday reporting solutions, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Custom Reports utilizing complex Calculated Fields.
- Create and enhance Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and BIRT reports that deliver meaningful business insights.
- Leverage Workday Prism Analytics to integrate, transform, and analyze data for strategic reporting and decision-making.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, user-friendly reporting solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, security, and governance of Workday data while adhering to established security standards and best practices.
- Support regulatory, compliance, and audit reporting requirements, including EEO-1, ACA, SOX, and internal audits.
- Troubleshoot complex reporting issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Continuously optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics for performance, usability, consistency, and business value.
- Support Workday biannual releases by assessing reporting impacts, conducting testing, and implementing enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to support end users and encourage self-service reporting.
- Champion Workday reporting best practices, data governance, and self-service analytics while driving continuous process improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, HR, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting, analyzing, or optimizing Workday HRIS and reporting solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with Workday Prism Analytics, including designing, developing, and maintaining multiple Prism use cases.
- Proven experience creating advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics using
- Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Custom Reports.
- Strong understanding of Workday Reporting, data structures, business processes, and reporting best practices.
- Experience building and optimizing Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and BIRT reports.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience troubleshooting reporting issues and optimizing report performance.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and data-driven insights to business and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
- Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can effectively prioritize competing business needs.
- Agreeable to working a hybrid work schedule
- Currently reside within a reasonable commute to Raleigh, NC or willing to relocate with comapny assistance.
- Legally authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future.
- Workday Pro Reporting Certification.
- Workday Prism Analytics Certification.
- Experience supporting Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits.
- Experience designing and supporting Discovery Boards and other modern data visualization solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Experience supporting a large, complex Workday environment with multiple tenants.
