Manager, Workday Technology
A large, multi-site organization is seeking a Workday Technology Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of their Workday ecosystem. This is a highly visible leadership role overseeing Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, Integrations, and Extend solutions while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business leadership.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of deep Workday technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across HR technology initiatives. This person will help shape the roadmap for Workday capabilities, prioritize enhancements and projects, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities include leading Workday initiatives, overseeing integrations and reporting governance, managing HRIS technology workstreams, supporting Workday releases/upgrades, and serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organization. The role will also provide hands-on leadership to a team responsible for reporting, analytics, integrations, and overall platform support.
- 10+ years of HR Technology, including 6+ years of Workday technical experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Workday HCM, reporting, calculated fields, dashboards, and complex configurations.
- Experience designing and supporting a high volume of Workday integrations, including Orchestrate.
- Prior experience with Workday Prism Analytics and advanced reporting solutions.
- Additional experience with Workday Extend, ERP implementations, Workday certifications, and broader HR/Financial systems configuration is highly preferred.
- Experience leading teams and managing multiple initiatives in fast-paced enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of HR systems architecture, data flows, governance, and security.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business leadership.
- Local to the Raleigh, NC area or willing to relocate with company assistance.
