Application Development Manager – JD Edwards
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Application Development Manager to lead a team supporting JD Edwards and other business-critical systems. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic oversight—managing developers, driving application initiatives, and ensuring technology solutions align with business needs across manufacturing, finance, and operations.
You’ll play a key role in modernizing systems, improving processes, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions that support day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application developers supporting JD Edwards and related systems
- Oversee the full application lifecycle, including enhancements, integrations, and new development
- Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize projects and deliver practical, high-quality solutions
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve system performance and usability
- Maintain oversight of application architecture, standards, and system integrations
- Contribute to budgeting, vendor management, and cost optimization initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience with JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne or World) development and support
- Background managing application development teams and multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with ERP integrations and enterprise systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Solid understanding of modern development practices (Agile, DevOps, system architecture)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business teams
