Our client, a highly regarded AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking Associate Attorneys to join their Environmental & Land Use Practice Group in Washington, D.C. office. This position offers the opportunity to advise clients on complex environmental regulatory matters while working alongside top-tier attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment.

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in California.
  • 2–5 years of substantive experience in environmental law, with a focus on drafting briefs and motions.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional writing skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated legal experience and a strong track record of professional accomplishments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal support in environmental and land use cases.
  • Engage in the drafting and review of legal documents such as motions and briefs, supporting litigation and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to develop innovative legal solutions for clients.
  • Stay informed on emerging environmental policies and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation: Includes an annual salary range of $235,000-$365,000, commensurate with experience, along with a generous bonus structure.
