We are in search of a dynamic and dedicated professional to assume the role of Assistant Director of Nursing at our esteemed facility in Brooklyn, NY. This pivotal position offers an incredible opportunity for a seasoned leader to impact patient care quality and operational effectiveness within the Internal Medicine Surgery department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily nursing operations, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active New York State RN license.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity, or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity.
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.

Position Details

• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
