Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Engineer with strong full-stack development skills to build innovative AI-powered products and developer tools.

The ideal candidate has experience building and launching products from scratch (0-to-1), preferably within a startup or fast-growing technology company.

This is a hands-on engineering position requiring expertise in React, TypeScript, backend development, system architecture, APIs, and AI-powered applications.

You will work directly with technical founders and senior engineers to design, develop, launch, and improve products used by software developers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch new software products from concept to production.

• Build full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and backend technologies.

• Develop AI-powered developer tools, automation features, and intelligent workflows.

• Build and integrate APIs, SDKs, and developer-facing platforms.

• Make technical decisions regarding software architecture, system design, and scalability.

• Develop user-friendly interfaces and reliable backend services.

• Build AI features using Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and natural-language interfaces.

• Create developer productivity tools involving analytics, debugging, monitoring, and observability.

• Work closely with technical founders to turn product ideas into working applications.

• Take ownership of products throughout development, testing, launch, and ongoing improvements.

• Gather customer feedback and continuously improve product functionality and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must have:

• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack software engineering experience, including frontend and backend development.

• Strong professional experience with React and TypeScript.

• Experience building modern, scalable web applications and user interfaces.

• Strong backend engineering skills, including developing services, APIs, and supporting infrastructure.

• Experience making system architecture and software design decisions.

• Proven experience building and launching at least one product or major product feature from scratch (0-to-1).

• Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth technology environment.

• Experience developing software products specifically for developers, engineers, or technical users.

• Experience building or working with developer tools, APIs, SDKs, developer platforms, or infrastructure products.

• Experience working at a developer tools or infrastructure startup.

• Experience developing and shipping AI-powered or LLM-based product features, OR demonstrated experience using AI coding agents and agentic development tools to significantly improve engineering productivity.

• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, application performance, scalability, and system reliability.

• Ability to independently manage engineering projects from initial design through production release.

• Strong product development skills and the ability to balance technical decisions with customer needs.

• Experience working directly with founders, product leaders, or small engineering teams.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Technical Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be especially relevant:

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, UI development.

• Backend: Backend services, API development, systems design, application architecture.

• Developer Tools: SDKs, APIs, developer platforms, debugging tools, observability, analytics.

• Artificial Intelligence: LLM integrations, AI agents, agentic workflows, natural-language interfaces, AI-powered automation.

• Product Engineering: 0-to-1 product development, prototyping, product launches, customer-driven iteration.

• Infrastructure: Scalable applications, system performance, developer infrastructure.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack/Product Engineer who is more than just a software developer.

The ideal candidate has personally built and launched products, understands how to turn ideas into working software, and enjoys developing tools that make other engineers more productive.

They should be comfortable working directly with founders, making architectural decisions, writing production code, and taking ownership of an entire product.

Startup experience, strong React/TypeScript skills, backend engineering expertise, and experience building developer-facing products are essential.
