ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY & RESOURCES

Location: Washington, DC

 

Our client, a top AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their Environment, Energy, and Resources Practice Group in Washington, DC.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar admission in DC.
  • 2–4 years of experience with the Clean Air Act (CAA) or other environmental regulations.
  • Strong legal writing, advocacy, and client service skills.
  • Prior federal judicial clerkship experience is preferred, but not required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on complex environmental law matters, with a focus on Clean Air Act issues.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys in advising clients on regulatory compliance, policy developments, and litigation.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and enforcement actions related to environmental law.

 

Why Join?This role offers competitive compensation, with a salary range from $235,000 to $310,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
