About the Role:

A leading financial technology company is transforming point-of-sale consumer financing through an advanced embedded lending platform. This solution enables businesses to offer flexible payment options across online, in-store, and omnichannel environments, enhancing customer purchasing power and merchant sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline, focusing on targeted customer accounts with finance volumes of $50MM+ within approved industry verticals.
  • Engage prospects and leads in a consultative sales approach to maximize effectiveness.
  • Secure buy-in from senior management through clear communication and alignment on key success factors.
  • Execute sales strategies to close deals with strategic customers and key accounts, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Continuously refine and improve the selling process for better efficiency and results.
  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and achieving individual sales targets.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement sales strategies that push deals forward while staying aligned with company goals.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or embedded lending solutions preferred.
  • Background in solution selling to merchants with a digital/financial product; ability to simplify complex information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly and engage with senior executives effectively.
  • Strong ownership mentality, ensuring expectations and deliverables are met within assigned verticals.
  • Highly collaborative team player with an outgoing and results-driven approach.
  • Analytical thinker who adapts quickly to evolving financial trends and market needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with embedded lending platforms or alternative payment solutions.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel sales strategies for fintech solutions.
