My biotech client actively seeks a Senior Scientist to join their antibody development group. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in antibody discovery and take a leadership role in experimental planning, target characterization, and sequence/structure analysis.
The ideal candidate will take on the following responsibilities:
- Lead antibody development efforts using hybridoma technology and vaccine-based platforms.
- Drive experimental planning and execution to characterize targets through sequence and structural analysis.
- Design immunogens and develop immunization strategies in support of antibody development programs.
- Apply protein biochemistry expertise to candidate evaluation and characterization.
- Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment alongside senior scientific leadership.
This person will possess the following qualities:
- Ph.D. in Immunology or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of relevant industry or academic laboratory experience.
- Hands-on laboratory experience required — must be willing to work at the bench.
- Demonstrated expertise in hybridoma technology, vaccine development, or related antibody development platforms.
- Strong experimental planning and project leadership capabilities.
- Candidates from both industry and academia will be considered.
- Experience with protein biochemistry, molecular modeling, or vaccine design is preferred.
- Familiarity with sequence and structure analysis in the context of antibody-antigen interactions is preferred.
